My Crystal Ball Android App Isn't Working

I followed all of the instructions, my code looks exactly like the video but when I click to unlock the virtual phone it doesn't do anything. I have just begun and I am at the "enlighten me" stage and I'm already having an issue...I thought that maybe my computer is just really slow, but its been 40 minutes already.

Hi Rachelle, sorry to hear you are having trouble! Am I correct in assuming you're working on the Android version?

If so, is this the video you are on? "Initial Layout": http://teamtreehouse.com/library/android-development/build-an-android-crystal-ball-app/getting-started/initial-layout

To unlock the emulator you need to click on the lock and hold the mouse button down as you drag it to the right. This has actually caused a few problems because I didn't explain that or show it clearly on the video.

If that's not your problem, can you tell me which operating system you're using (Windows or Mac) and elaborate on what isn't working?

Wow! I feel like an idiot...but a happy idiot because you solved my issue.

Before I used this service I was using Linda.com, your videos are far more easy to understand and more engaging...which is extremely important for someone like me who suffers from adult ADHD. All of that and now I'm finding that you guys are also super responsive to customers who have issues...I think I love you people at Treehouse!

Thanks for helping me Ben.
