My css isn't linking to my html page... This seems to be an ongoing problem with others on here too!!

My css isn't linking to my html.. This is so frustrating..

<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css"> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/main.css">

It's placed correctly in the <head></head>...

When I try to change major things.. Background color in the main.css nothing happens and the index.css has no effect on my webpage either..

May you take a screenshot of your code and file directory. Seeing how your files are organized may help.
