My first portfolio

I thought I would link my first portfolio to the community. I recently started this course with limited html and css knowledge and i'm working my way up. Here's the link and any comments would be great :)

Simon, I like the color's and font, but I think the hero image doesn't really go with the site's name. While I think it is a beautiful image, I believe that if you are going to call your site MaxTech designs you might want to go with a different image.

Looks great! I really like the clean design. What I really like on one page website designs, is a scroll animation. And its really simple. check it out. Its simple JQuery that you can paste in.

Check it out here : http://css-tricks.com/snippets/jquery/smooth-scrolling/

Also I notice its not responsive, but like you said you are working your way up. And responsive design is one of the coolest things to me. Its like magic.

Also I really like your header, It nice and clean. And you didn't go crazy with colors either.

So great job! Keep up the great work!

+1 for the scrolling link and the advice about responsive design. Current stats are about 50% of all the web traffic you'll get will be mobile. So its should probably be responsive when you get a chance to do it.

thanks for the positive comments guys. and ill take a look at that scroll animation trent thanks for the information :)

No problem Simon. Also Andrew is right about mobile devices. I think Mobile will be used more then desktop in the next couple years.
