My first real life website project.

Just wanted to share my first project. The purpose of the site is to showcase the mandala art of my good friend.

Give me some thoughts!

I haven't cleaned up the code jet.

yea i know how to get it but normal user may not :) so contact form is better

I think I will rather just write out the email address for this kind of case. I can't really see having a contact form, especially in the footer.

But, yes, as I am a mac user, I didn't think about that problem really! :)

and now you can go true PHP :) and try connect your site so MySQL database and load content from Database its good to practic some AJAX technics and JSON on it also :) when you done this you will be ready to front end / back end web development :)

PHP or maybe Java Spring or .NET its on you :)

Currently working on the Front End Development course on treehouse. Can't wait until i can make my websites dynamic. At the moment I'll stick with the static html page. Gladly it is a very basic information page.

But sure enough, I'll add a shop functionality and convert the page to php, as soon as I'll have a better understanding how to!

I feel like I am supposed to finish my Front End Developer degree before though. What do you think, should I jump on learning php before that or keep on going with the degree?

you can always jump back to FRONT end but you already know JavaScript so PHP will be easy for you,

you should try : https://teamtreehouse.com/tracks/beginner-php

and you will see :) but if you start with PHP and you done PHP basic then you HAVE TO done SQL database Basics i think its abou 3 Curses ( SELECTING, UPDATING, INSERTING, data to database ) its important to know this maybe its better learn SQL before PHP but SQL is not exciting like PHP :/

Alright, thanks Patrik!

I've been a lot of help. I'll wait, if there is going to be another feedback comment from the community and then mark your answer as the best.

Good luck!
