My footer is still after the welcome text :(

It would be very unusual for the footer to be below your welcome text, so why are you wanting to do this?

Also, to be able to help we'll need to see your HTML and possibly your CSS.

Check your <div class="wrap"> and make your you don't wrap the footer tag
