My for loop isn't adding?

I'm trying to follow along the Array challenge part 1.

When I put all the correct answers it still says "you got 0 answers correct".

What am I doing it wrong?

Code

var questions = [
    ['How many states are in the usa', 50],

    ['How many continents are there?', 7],

    ['How many legs does an insect have?', 6]
];

var correctAnswers = 0;
var question;
var answer;
var response;
var html;

function print(message) {
    var printIt = document.write(message);
    return printIt;
}

for( var i = 0; i <  questions.length; i += 1) {
    question = questions[i][0];
    answer = question[i][1];
    response = parseInt(prompt(question));

    if( response === answer ) {
        correctAnswers += 1;
    }

}

html = "You got " + correctAnswers + " question(s) right.";
print(html);

You are missing an s after question here:

answer = question[i][1];

should be

answer = questions[i][1];
