My Image won't show even though it's in the same folder as my index.html file. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong

I'm using the JEdit text editor. Idk what I am doing wrong. No clue what to do next.

Here is my code. I've exhausted every option I can think of. Please, help. Thanks.

try this <img src= "/apple_ex.png">

or making a seperate folder for images call it images or img then try

<img src="/images/apple_ex.png"> or <img src="/img/apple_ex.png">

Check the name of your file, I just copied and pasted your code into a new file, changed the name of the file to a new one I have and it worked. Just a tip , indent your code, it makes it more readable.

I used the same structure, image file is located in the same directory as the html file.

Do you save the file inside a folder on the text editor or on your computer? And will do!
