My images won't show in the gallery content!

I wrote the exact same html code as in the video and my images won't appear. The hyper link paragraph is there and if you click it, the image shows on a different page but not on the main page as the video shows. Please help.

If you include your code, someone here should be able to help you. :)

Hi Ivan,

It's a little difficult to say the problem without example HTML code but can you check the img tag is formatted as follows please?

<img src="path/to/image.extension" alt="Alternate text if image doesn't display">

For example:

<img src="img/gallery-3.jpg" alt="Happy people">

A few things you could check for are:

  • incorrect spelling
  • missing closing tags
  • missing quotes
  • missing image extension
  • incorrect path (check this matches where you upload the image to - in the case of the example it should be an image named gallery-3.jpg within a folder named img)

Hope that helps

Found the error! It's so easy to miss a detail sometimes. Even if you go over it 10 times, it's the most frustrating thing too. Thank you. Question: Are you all students and are so kind to answer questions?

Thank you!

HI Ivan,

Glad you got it sorted. Students here are very good at answering questions quickly without making the student asking the question feel bad for asking it :)

Cheers, thanks! I knew it must have been a simple fix, I just didn't see it. I love the community vibe. Thank you as well Keri.
