My internet browser has been stuck trying to load the link Desktop Server gives me to install WordPress for local host

The http://example.dev/wp-admin/install.php link has been trying to load for the past 10 minutes. but localhost loads no problem.

Honestly,

In my experience, Desktop Server is probably your worst choice. Depending what system you are using, MAMP for Mac or XAMPP for Windows works MUCH better. After that, just follow the WordPress Local Install.
