My keyboard does not disappear...what do i need to do?

I am done with my AlertView, but as soon as I try to write something in the textField my keyboard appears and does not disappear>

You have to tell it that you are done using the textfield. To collapse the keyboard, use the method called resignFirstResponder. For instance, your textfield name is theTextField. And you have an IBAction from a button called Done. Within the Done IBAction function, call [theTextField resignFirstResponder];
