My launch screen doesn't show the image I've added

I'm trying to make a launch screen for a simple app I'm making for coding practice but for some reason when I then try to add an image to load with it, it doesn't show up. Everything else loads and appears like my labels etc just not the image itself. I have the image source in the assets folder and it is selected in the Image View section.
