Python Object-Oriented Python Instant Objects Your first method

My output is as desired yet I'm receiving an error stating the name is not in the return message.

I've ran the code locally...

from test import Student

first = Student()

print(first.praise())

The above 3 lines are the code I used to test the output. I'm guessing it differs from the one the automated grader is using.

first_class.py
class Student:
    name = 'Jesse'

    def praise(self):
        msg = 'congrats, ' + Student.name
        return msg

You about got it, just need to change Student.name to self.name.

Student represents the class and self represents each instance of a Student.

class Student: name = 'Jesse'

def praise(self):
    msg = 'congrats, ' + self.name
    return msg
