My photo file will not appear on the sidebar, despite it telling me it has uploaded.

The green plus sign appears when I drag it, then when I drop it, it says "uploading photo" then gives me a green check mark. However, nothing ever appears on the sidebar. Have tried several times, and the photo I'm uploading is a jpeg.

I had a similar thing happen to me because I was trying to upload a picture file right from a zip file. Once I completely unzipped the file and uploaded it from its extracted location, it worked perfectly. Not sure if this is your situation or if this is helpful but figured I'd throw it out there.
