Unrelated to your problem I do see a few errors towards the end of your css file:

}

I'm not sure where the n: center part came from but it's not a valid css rule.

And you have a typo with the "selected" class. You put nav a.slected

try changing your "gallery li" selector to "gallery a". select the anchor elements to float them left.
