My Profile - Display Tracks?

Is there any discussion as to showing not just overall points, but the tracks a user completes? IE, showing a user completing a level?

The badges are meant to signify that you've completed Tracks and gained specific skill sets. But I can see the value in displaying Track-completion more prominently. Completing a whole track is a pretty solid accomplishment.

The badges also don't have any description - "Text" may not be understood for someone who didn't take the course (Or just "Introduction" for HTML)... If I'm trying to demonstrate accomplishments (hey, lookie at my treehouse profile), a list of badges doesn't demonstrate quickly what is learned... the points board helps, but is almost too broad. Trying to find a middle ground... (Hey, I know Web Design and Illustrator, etc). I like the badges though. =)

Yes, I totally agree with Melanie and IMHO it's a big but very easy to solve problem:

Please change the Text of Badges like the ones Melanie already mentioned or those like this from the "Console Foundations":

[Achievement]

[Installing Programs]

[Installing Software]

to something that makes more sense like:

[Console Foundations - working with a UNIX command line interface]

[Installing and configuring software from the command line and usage of a package manager]

Anybody who sees the Badge description [Achievement - Installing Software] thinks "great - before this badge she/he even doesn't now how to install a piece of software" and that's kind of really very embarrassing.

That could work too - I just think it's mutually beneficial.... I use Treehouse to promote my skills, in-turn promoting Treehouse (who finds new customers)... Would be nice to find a way to promote overall lessons learned on Linkedin, etc (as individual badges aren't that descriptive).

Any sign of track completeion? It would be really nice to see track completeion badge :)

I agree - there needs to be a graphical representation on profile pages for tracks completed!
