My Progress (thank you Treehouse)

Hello everyone,

I am here to thank every Treehouse teacher and staff.

I joined Treehouse back in May to upgrade my skills and also to learn new stuff.

I am happy to say that as of today I am proud owner of two products, a free WordPress theme and a premium WordPress plugin.

Free theme - MA8 Premium plugin - GT Shortcodes

I don't remember all the names, thanks Nick Pettit Zac Gordon and others.

Looking forward to learn more and more.

That shortcode plugin is really cool, it seems like it will embed pretty much anything from Bootstrap. Is that where you got the code? Do the shortcodes come with embedded styles or is the developer responsible for styling these elements?

Also I like your theme, nice bold typography. WP.org is choking on the preview though, not sure if it's an issue with your theme code or something on their end.

Hi Paul, thanks for the kind words.

Styles are included with the plugin but if you use it with bootstrap based WordPress theme then elements will adapt automatically to that theme style.

Regarding theme, there is no issue with it. On WordPress.org, they don't care to set theme options properly. I have recently shifted my website to a new host and I am yet to set-up theme preview. Hopefully if time permits I will mange to get the preview up during weekend.
