My question concerns breaking a page into multiple forms

I wish to create a sidebar on page one, as well as a distinct headline. At the bottom a footer and copywrite. where in treehouse is this interactivity covered or discussed.

It sounds like you'l want to go through the both the build and enhance a simple PHP application lessons.

I agree - if you are talking about taking a html page and breaking it down into seperate files that can just be included (ex. including a header.php file on all your pages to display the header) then you should try the build a simple php application.
