My Website is not even close to what it should look like and I am unable to see where I made my mistakes

How can I find out where I went wrong?

Paul Ryan

You can either paste both your HTML and CSS files here and wait for an answer. OR, you might try W3School's validation services:

For HTML go here - http://validator.w3.org/

For CSS go here - http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/

Use the direct input option, and just cut and paste your files into their form.

Hope you get it sorted out!!

I made a mistake somewhere earlier on and I thought I would be able to figure it out later..... Big mistake on my part!

Going forward I will be addressing problems immediately, so for now I was hoping some would would help me so I could get back on track.

Thank You Nelson Cole

Do you have any more CSS to show?

Did you not cut and paste the HTML tag? Everything, minus the <!doctype html> must be wrapped in an HTML tag. If that's missing, that'll definitely throw your page off.

this is impossible to read, did you just copy and paste the CSS from somewhere on the web? You should do all the CSS by yourself so (1) You understand CSS better (2) You will get the website to look how you want

Paul,

Here is the Main.css....this is all we have written for this lesson so far.

a { text-decoration: none; }

wrapper { max-width: 940px; margin: 0 auto;

background: orange; }

The normalize.css code came the way I sent to you with that large amount of code pre-populated, i guess I will find out later in the lesson what we are suppose to do with it.

So the only real issue I believe is the html.

I hope this helps.

Thank You Nelson
