my website is redirecting to my hostsite.

i did type my website address but it is directing me to hostsite (hostinger malaysia) but my hostsite is hostinger india. i don't know whats happening.

What exactly did you type?

I have noticed that in your last question your index file was in the portfolio folder. If you type: http://vijayportfolio.com/portfolio/index.html or http://vijayportfolio.com/portfolio it works!

http://vijayportfolio.com does not work because there is no index.html file in that folder.

I would suggest moving your whole website and placing it the the folder above portfolio. Warning! If you have used fixed links to your pages eg. http://vijayportfolio.com/portfolio/about.html in your links you will need to rewrite the links removing the portfolio part. Eg. http://vijayportfolio.com/about.html or use relative urls.

Hi vijay,

You will more then likely need to contact your webhost about this as they will be able to help you with any misconfigurations directly, more than likely it's got something to do with the DNS not having propagated yet.
