Hey guys,
Recently i started my web development business.now i'm with handful jobs.So by keeping feature progress in mind,i want to create my own brand with unique name and website. Website designing is currently going. but i'm confusing with decision on name. my theme is Brand,quality,cost ... I'm thinking of "Qost" represents quality,cost ... but i'm going out of thoughts.... Any buddy,please suggest me with a unique name ?

However I have always like 'An Evil Empire' so when asked what you do you can say I run an Evil Empire

9,767 PointsQost makes no sense at all. Just my opinion. There's no synonym to other words so it looks like you've just put random letters next to each other. How do you pronounce it? You're going to have to explain how to spell it to everyone, it doesn't actually represent anything.
The company name should tell people in one word what you are and if a second is required to identify your market sector then so be it. Possibly a third adjective could be used such as Ultimate or Super or Big or something like that.
Once you've chosen your company name, that's it...you're stuck with it. You can't just change it as it confuses clients and makes people suspicious. If you're going to use Web Development in your name then it should be singular not plural. Develop is a verb, you don't get plural verbs.

you also discussed about some grammar ... ;) i appropriate that .. but .. i guess you are thinking that i'm not aware of "developments" (Maybe by seeing my response for "Qosrscripts web developments" :) ) ...but i'm sorry ,I've to appropriate each and every response for my topic .Right ? :)

9,767 PointsNo problem...think what your company does and wants to be. That will give you an idea of what the name should be. An easy way to decide is search for the domain name. No good having a great name if your domain isn't available.
My companies at the moment are Ultimate Gaming Paradise and Globotek. Ultimate Gaming Paradise is a site where gamers will not need to go anywhere, it is the Ultimate Gaming site, site isn't a great word to use but Paradise is. Because, gamers will feel like they've come to gaming Paradise and that helps with building a community and following around the site.
Globotek is a very different name and company. Globotek means Global Technology. Web design, development and hosting are all handled through this company. The strap line is Global Technology Solutions and the name allows for expansion of the product/service range. It's spelt Gobotek because that was the only domain available and even then it's a .net but as it's a "net" based company and what we do is the "net", I can get away with it.

No matter how silly some of the words seem, keep writing.
Then pick out the names you like the best and continue to narrow down the list.
You want a powerful name. One that is easy to pronounce, spell, and is not already taken in the area you are doing business.
It is not as easy as people think. Your name will be everything. It is the basis of the entire company and marketing plan.

9,259 PointsI Agree with that.. but my vision is for feature. my thought is to establish a development workshop with team of experts in relevant field.
so i thought it would be better to promote the business with a brand name instead of my name(own personal branding).
