Navigating through Android App using navigation drawer

Hi Everyone,

I am creating a Android app that has the following activities:

Home Diary Entries New Entry Events

I want to know how i would navigate between these activities using a drawer layout. If i cannot use activities for a drawer layout, then how would i use fragments as for example the Diary entries and New Entry pages will read and write to a SQL database?
