HTML

Navigation from Profile to About Page.

The navigation that is suppose to link me from my "Profile" to my "About" page is not leading me anywhere. It is not showing the header, nor is the CSS having any effect on the nav displaying that it is selected.

Here is the snipped of code where I believe the issue lies. I will compare one from the index file and one from the about file.

index.html

<li><a href="index.html" class="selected">Portfolio</a></li>
<li><a href="index.html">About</a></li>
<li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>

about.html

<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
<li><a href="about.html" class="selected">About</a></li>
<li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>

Hi, Armando. Your code snippet is not appearing. If you can update your post with the code, I'll take a look.

Armando,

I cleaned up your post a bit to display the code correctly. Not sure what was going on with it before, but I think it had to do with a space before your backticks.

Thanks Shawn, yeah I was having some issue, displaying the code.

Armando,

On your Index page, you have the link to the About page pointed to index.html. Change your href attribute to about.html and everything should work fine.

Hope that helps!
