need a good example

what is the next step ?

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Once Upon a Time</title>

It says "Start by writing an opening and closing body tag below the closing head tag, and above the closing html tag." So you want to add a tag with body inside it right below the closing /head tag, but about the html tag like this:

<body>
 </body>
Jason Welsh
seal-mask
.a{fill-rule:evenodd;}techdegree seal-36

It looks like there is no body section in the HTML document structure. Start with this and keep doing what you were doing:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Once Upon a Time</title>
    <style>
        h1 {text-align:left; color:green}
    </style>
</head>
<body>
      <!--You are missing the body tags-->
</body>
</html>

Hmm... I wonder why this is still showing up as unanswered since it was answered. Twice and the answers are great IMO.
