Need Advice.

Hello Treehouse Community,

I am currently enrolled in the Full Stack JavaScript Track. I am currently trying to teach myself to code to form a new career path for myself. Without getting into too much detail, I am currently struggling with the quiz challenges in the above mentioned Track I am trying to complete.

My question to you guys is, whether or not this is normal and should I not continue with the track until I have completed the quiz challenges?

It is a bit discouraging as I feel I understand things up until the challenge arrives. Am I supposed to be struggling with the challenges and should I really be sitting there for an hour trying to figure it out?

Any feedback is much appreciated, just want some advice or maybe someone elses story of how difficult it was for them at first.
