2,357 PointsNeed advice for setting up technology stack
I am setting up an app with couple of friends which is currently going to be android platform, and in the future on iOS and other platforms.
We want it to be on the social side, so users are going to be able to take pics through the app, upload to our website. Also they will be able to retrieve their pics and see other friends pics on it, kind of like instagram.
Since we all know Java well, we were thinking of using JSP and servlets on the backend to manage the website.
I needed advice whether this is a good idea, our technology stack would be hosted on Amazon AWS, using Mysql, and using jsp for the front end.
Also if any alternate suggestions are there, please let me know.
Thanks for your time.
