Here is your drive method with my comments

 public boolean drive(){
    boolean waslapsDriven = false;  // this line isn't needed
    if(! isEmpty()){   // there isn't a need for an if statment
      lapsDriven = ++; // to increment you need to do it like this: lapsDriven++;
      was drive= true; // this line isn't needed
     // here you need to add battery decrement:   barCount--;
    }
  }
