The nav has no id's or class so i tried getting it by the element of nav and it's child the ul. But im not too sure on how to get it. Also if the ul is not the child of the nav i could be wrong on that also.

Hi Nas!

This passes all three:

let navigationLinks = document.querySelectorAll('nav a'); // Task 1
let galleryLinks = document.querySelectorAll('#gallery a'); // Task 2
let footerImages = document.querySelectorAll('footer img'); // Task 3

Keep in mind a descendant selector is just two selectors (parent and child/nested) separated by a space.

'nav a' targets all anchor/link elements nested within the nav element.

And how deeply the child may be nested is irrelevant.

I hope that helps.

Stay safe and happy coding!

This definitely helped thank you for the help!
