need help on a challenge task

how is the proper way to write this challenge?

ruby.rb
car_speed = 65
speed_limit = 60

too_fast = "true"

if car_speed > speed_limit && too_fast end

1 Answer

Two problems, first, booleans (true and false) don't have double or single quotes around it. Example:

true
false

Also, you should set too_fast to true only when car_speed is greater than speed limit. The code:

car_speed = 65
speed_limit = 60

if car_speed > speed_limit
  too_fast = true
end

Hope it helps! ~xela888
