Need help on '{}' and '.format()'.

I don't really understand what the task wants me to do, and I'm confused about the concepts of '{}' and '.format()'. Can someone please explain the concept clearly?

strings.py

subject="Treehouse loves name.format()"

The format method gets called at the end of a string after the closing quote. The arguments passed in with be used to fill the placeholders in the string (where ever '{}' is found).

Here's an example:

some_string = "test"
new_string = "This is a {}.".format(some_string)

# will result in new_string's value being : "This is a test."
