Okay so the problem I'm seeing immediately is that you have two sets of quotes after your href. One points to an image, the other to a page. One of them should be removed. If you are trying to add an image, it needs to be seperate from the tag in it's own tag.

I hope that helps, but let me know if you need further help, or if I misunderstood the goal.

Your code says:
<a href="numbers-01.jpg""index.html">Portfolio
The correct format should be
Portfolio
. Then you need to insert the image tag where needed.

The code challenge is asking you to add an unordered list of images to the Empty
below the one you have edited.

Here's what a correct solution will look like

Nick Pettit

Nick Pettit

Designer

Portfolio

About

Contact

© 2013 Nick Pettit.
