Need help setting href attribute to link to the top of the page in code quiz

I do not have workspace open and am working from mobile for first time.

index.html
<!doctype>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>My trip to Spain</title>
  </head>
  <body>

    <img src="images/spain.jpg" alt="A picture of me in Spain">
    <p>Here is a picture of me in Spain last summer!</p>
    <a>href=#top </a>

  </body>
</html>

This was my third or fourth attempt and my code was an effort to follow suggestions when I was wrong. I do not know how to complete this code.

Hey Brigid,

href is an attribute, so it would be part of the tag, the way src and alt is on the img tag. As they are attributes too.

<a href="#top"> </a>

Thank you, I forgot to include it inside the anchor tag itself! Wonderful thx!
