Need help understanding git documentation

Hello, I was trying to figure out how the git documentation works. If you go to: https://git-scm.com/docs/git-add#git-add--A there is documentation on how the git add command works with different options. It looks something like this:

-A --all --no-ignore-removal Update the index ... blablabla

Looking at the options, it looks like -A, --all --no-ignore-removal are all under the same description... What does that mean? Is it that all 3 options do the same thing? I couldn't find any information about this. I am quite confused.

Does anyone have an idea?

Thanks!
