UITapGestureRecognizer *tap = [[UITapGestureRecognizer alloc] initWithTarget:self action:@selector(value)]; tap.numberOfTapsRequired = 3; [self addGestureRecognizer:tap];

42,016 Pointsall you need to do is call alloc and init, then set the number of taps. you dont need to use initWithTarget:action or add the gesture recgnizer to the controller
UITapGestureRecognizer *tap = [[UITapGestureRecognizer alloc] init];
tap.numberOfTapsRequired = 3;
