Need to complete "Learn Java" track before doing "Java Web Development" track?

The question is pretty much in the title: is it highly recommended that someone should complete "Learn Java" track before doing "Java Web Development" track? Thank you!

Actually, the Java Web Development track already seems to teach the basics of Java, and skips all the parts about learning Java that aren't usually required to be a successful Java Web developer.

If you are more interested in Java Web development, go ahead and start the Web Development for Java Track!

However, it might be a good idea to also go through the Learn Java track because it goes more in-depth into Java.

I would first take the Web development track for Java and then hop on over to the Learn Java track.

either order is fine, in fact.

I hope this helps. ~Alex

Great - thanks for your response! I do quite a bit of database and SQL stuff at my current job so I'll start with the Java Web track.

Sound great!

Good luck! :+1:
