New Course Idea: Tizen OS

I recently heard of the new Tizen OS for mobile which is backed by Samsung and Intel...

Was wondering if there were going to be any courses on it since it would be really cool to be the first ones to develop for it :)

I have no idea if Treehouse is going to make any new courses for Tizen, but I'm not a big fan of Tizen. Personally, I think if Samsung completely steps away from Android, then it's going to loose a ton of market share.

I'd suggest you focus on the Android courses and learn Java.

But, you never know...anyhow, good luck!

Hi Calvin, I would really like to encourage you diving into the Tizen OS if you've already got very good knowledge of iOS and Android Programming but a new course covering Tizen OS here at Treehouse doesn't make much sense to me at this very moment IMHO.

Ok cool, I haven't learned mobile OS's at all yet, so thanks for the opinions guys, I'l go through the others first :)
