New to Coding. want to get into security and network connections. any recommendations on starting points?

want to get into the network security world and network connections but have no idea where to start and which languages would be best to learn to apply to that field.any recommendations would be helpful

Security is more about application than language, so there's not really any particular language that is "best" to learn for security. So you could probably start with any language that is commonly used, particularly for server-side functionality. Check any of the many "most popular language" rankings available online.

The Security topic area is new at Treehouse, and while I expect there will be many courses coming in the future you may need to rely on other resources for learning today. You might consider what your specific goals are in making your choice. Are you looking for a degree? A certification? A portfolio of accomplishments? Also, what timeframe and budget will you be investing in your learning?
