Hi I'm Jonathan Francisco from Philippines, 1st year I.T Student, I just joined treehouse a couple minutes ago. I want to learn web development, which track should i go first front-end development or web design? I have a little bit coding experience in Java but not Web development or something.

Hello Jonathan, First of all Welcome to Treehouse.

Both tracks cover a lot of the same courses which will show you the basics of HTML and CSS. Where these two tracks differ is one is solely based on design techniques (web design) while the other (front-end) includes the basics of JavaScript.

Regardless of which you choose to do first it will go hand in hand with the other.

I hope this helps.

Thank you!, I'd go web design then seems like there are 3 languages taught in front-end. I want to focus on HTML and CSS first.
