No Bounding Box To Resize

@3:22 he says "with the selection tool, resize" But he must be doing something else. I do not get a double sided arrow to resize no matter what I do. All I get is the whole text box moving around. Any suggestions?

Quick keys always gets me here. I may accidentally press cmd +h (ctrl+h) going for preview and my edges are missing.

Under view menu you will find "Show Bounding Box" Shift+Cmd+B (shift+ctrl+b).

When ever I have this problem I learned to select view, then select show bounding box, and thats alway allowed me to resize anything.
