2,562 PointsNo example projects in teacher notes!!
I am very disappointed to discover that there are no example projects as advertised in the teachers notes after the final PHP Basics video. After all this is a paid course, and projects for me are the best way to apply the skills learnt in the course.

Do you mind sharing the specific instructions on how and where I can see the mentioned project? I'd like to double check and refer this to our teachers. Thank you!

2,562 PointsHi Jay,
Thank you so much for looking into this for me :)
This is a snippet from the email i received after finishing the PHP Basics course:
You just completed the first PHP course on Treehouse! Way to hang in there! I hope you found this course challenging and helpful. It's just the beginning though! Don't forget to practice what you've just learned by coding up some of the example projects. You'll find a list of them in the teacher's notes for the last video in the course. You can ask questions and get help in the Treehouse Community.

4,731 PointsHey Amy,
Thanks for the extra information. I indeed checked the last video in the course, https://teamtreehouse.com/library/whats-next, and don't see any teacher's notes. I did notice a zipped "Project Files" under "Downloads," however. Though, I'm not 100% sure if these may be the projects alluded to in the email.
In any case, I've alerted our teaching team about this confusion and hope there's a fix soon. I may recommend keeping an eye on the "What's Next" course over the next week or two (due to Thanksgiving next week) for updates.
We appreciate your patience and alert!

Treehouse TeacherI added some project ideas in the teacher's note
Additional Project Ideas
- Change a message based on time of day. If can be helpful to tell customers looking at your site if your store is closing soon or closed for the day. The date() function will also give you the current hour so you can use that to customize a message. If the time is not displaying properly for you timezone, you can also look at the date_default_timezone_set function
- Additional Conversions. Try additional conversions such as Length... Area... Liquid... Volume... Energy... Acceleration... Mass... Pressure... Velocity.
- Create a Mad Libs game by replacing a string with your own variables.
