Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 25,644 Pointsindeed working on a screen can make your eyes worse. but there are other factors that influence your eyes:
- genetic history (depending on your family)
- make enough breakes.
- use background light
- occasioanlly look far out instead of close.
hope this helps

13,058 PointsProbably more than a few are wearing contact lenses. I'm sure some had lasik surgery. The rest are just... lucky, I guess.

2,435 PointsWell, i sat like from when i was 11years every day non stop on the pc : p all incorrect.
Lasik surgery is dangerous and it doesnt last forever but for few years from what i know.
But true, they can use contact lenses as well. What if they dont xd
But really, they should make some safety video : p

Crossing the street today is more dangerous than Lasik surgery. I had this surgery 3 years ago and it took me 3 minutes to do it, I'm not kidding.
It's just laser beams shooting at your retina, what's so dangerous about that? :D

2,435 Points: p what if the laser cut too deep or whatever, martial arts professional and have security guard with an special vehicle xd I don't know xd but do how did it go? Your fixed now? I heared it goes away after few years not long.

Courses Plus Student 15,597 PointsIf it was for just few years I would pay the amount I paid...I was promised 25 years and up. My doctor actually told me it depends on how I will take care of my eyes.
Today after 3 years, almost reaching 4 years after the surgery, the only thing I have is some extra sensitivity to bright light, but nothing special - I did not expect to have a 20/20 vision as my eye sight was "corrupted" from a motorbike accident when I was 8 years old.
I highly recommend the Lasik surgery for anyone who wish not to wear glasses all his life.

2,435 PointsUh, all about taking care of your body in one sentence. I'm definitely going to remember it, and definitely buy the guarantee glasses when I can. And how are your eyes after two or week of wearing them? My eyes are tired, dry and the red took my white ball on half as well as I have black ish eye under and sone violet on the cut closing eye, all this because of poor care. Sitting on a personal computer, pc lol takes responsibility aa well: p ah even the simplest things need discipline.

Courses Plus Student 15,597 PointsYou mean "Gunnar Glasses" - They help, a lot. I actually can't sit on the PC without them now, imagine never wearing sunglasses and always squint at the sun, and one day you finally decide to wear sunglasses, that's how it feels.
Highly recommended.

Thank you for the recommendations :D I'll email you when I fervor the pc. Need to wake up now. Well.
