No matter what I do global array variable will not go get approved by the tester!!!

Create a global array named "options" and include it in the options page function. Is the objective. No matter what I change it says either global $options is not declared or it needs to be imported

plugin.php
<?php

global $options;

    function my_plugin_options_page($options) {
        if( !current_user_can( 'manage_options' ) ) {
            wp_die( 'You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.' );
        }

        if( isset( $_POST['my_plugin_hidden_field'] ) ) {
            $my_plugin_username = esc_html( $_POST['my_plugin_username'] );

        }

        require('includes/page-wrapper.php');
    }

?>
