I've installed a program called the "Unarchiver" -- it's free and you can find it at the app store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-unarchiver/id425424353?mt=12

I guess Macs don't natively unzip .7z files -- as least not by just clicking on them. There may be a command line way to do it, but the unarchiver is free and works for me

Hi James Whiting

I just download the SVGO-Gui app from Github. It is in a compressed .z format, but it opened automatically for me on my mac. It's then just an app that you double-click to launch. I was able to drag SVG files onto it and it worked.

What's happening in your case?

When I go here https://github.com/svg/svgo-gui and download this file for OSX svgo-gui-osx-ia32.7z and double click it. I get this message:

Cannot extract package

Failed to unzip the package file: /Users/RW/Desktop/svgo-gui-osx-ia32.7z

Any thoughts would be very helpful. Thanks
