none of my media queries work AT ALL?

Whenever I resize my Chrome window, the media queries never take effect. I tried using the "screen" keyword, as well as "all", but nothing works --

You need to add 'and' for example:

@media screen and (max-width: 1024px) {

}
@media screen and (max-width: 768px) {

}

Edit: Nathan Ward's answer is right.

You can also try this in your meta tag:

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">

nothing seems to work, thanks for the answers though? :)
