    <script
    src="jquery-3.2.1.min.js"></script>

Hi there! The thing you're trying to prepend should be a simple string and not another jQuery object. You will need to remove the dollar sign and a pair of parentheses from the argument passed to prepend.

 $(this).prepend('<input type="checkbox"/>');

Hope this helps! :sparkles:

In my case was able to pass the challenge, so thanks. But when I previewed the change I didn't see any difference, so why do I have to leave out the Jquery method? In the videos before we've used it without any problems?!
