Normalize doesn't work?

I have downloaded the file into a folder shared with my baking' website and linked it up but there doesn't seem to be any effect? The font is still the same etc. Any suggestions?

Normalize isn't about adding styles, it's about taking them away. Essentially all it deals with are removing browser default styles to give your site more of a fresh, clean, white canvas to build from, and to help your site look more consistent among all the major browsers.

But the style is the same it has no effect I'm not sure if i have applied it right?

Look at your source code. Find where you linked in your normalize CSS file, and see if the browser shows the actual CSS in that file, or if it it couldn't find it.

I have it in a folder location like this:

/Users/JamesJohnBryer/Dropbox/Team Treehouse Porjects/normalize.css

I also have in linked in like this:
