normilise.css file for front end web development class.

I dowloaded the CSS file for my project in the front end web class. Now my index.html file is missing in my workspace. Has anyone had this happen to them? How can get my index.html file back?

Try closing out the workspace. Then click on "Workspaces" link at the top right of the main menu. Find that workspace and re-open it. Also, make sure you spell the filename as "normalize.css" or at least stay consistent..
