Not possible to reset progress??

Previous questions about resetting course progress all said the Support guys would do it. I emailed them and they said it can't be done...

If I close my account can I reactivate it and start over from square one?

I just got my account reset a couple of months ago. I emailed their support and they gave me another email asking me to let them know that I really wanted to reset. It was reset the same day.

I just inquired if this was possible and received a prompt response informing me that it is not.

Eventually they told me that resetting causes some kind of big data mess. They're trying to resolve the issue, no timeframe, and no resets until whenever.

Are you trying to reset just one course or your whole account?

Either.

Otherwise-useless-support-guy said if I close my account and sign up with another email that will set me back to square one alright. Only other email I have is an old hotmail account I needed fort Xbox and haven't logged into in years. Don't know if I even remember the password I was using back then.

I wanted to do the same. As someone who has to watch something many times it would be nice to be able to start a course over from scratch. Not sure what the issue is....Lynda.com has had this feature (clearing viewed videos) for quite some time now.

Might do the free trial with Lynda. Is their approach to tutors a bit scattershot like Udemy, as in anyone can build a course and you don't really know what you're getting?
