Not receiving any e-mail

I'm not receiving any e-mail. I've read another question here saying that this information was outdated or still valid and the problem is on my end?

If you are using Gmail:

  1. Turn off two-step verification, if it is on.
  2. Enable less secure app access to your Gmail setting from here: /settings/security/lesssecureapps

I read though the article that Afshin suggested and turned on my less secure apps and that did the trick for me as well! Now works perfectly. Thanks so much!
