Not sure what I'm doing wrong

I'm struggling to loop through each group of this two dimensional list and output the "members" of each list.

groups.py
musical_groups = [
    ["Ad Rock", "MCA", "Mike D."],
    ["John Lennon", "Paul McCartney", "Ringo Starr", "George Harrison"],
    ["Salt", "Peppa", "Spinderella"],
    ["Rivers Cuomo", "Patrick Wilson", "Brian Bell", "Scott Shriner"],
    ["Chuck D.", "Flavor Flav", "Professor Griff", "Khari Winn", "DJ Lord"],
    ["Axl Rose", "Slash", "Duff McKagan", "Steven Adler"],
    ["Run", "DMC", "Jam Master Jay"],
]
# Your code here

s=","
group_number = 1
s = s.join(musical_groups)
for group in musical_groups:
    print (s)
    group_number =+ 1

1 Answer

group_number =+ 1

I think it your error is on =+ 1. Try += 1

Actually I figured it out...final code looked like this:

musical_groups = [ ["Ad Rock", "MCA", "Mike D."], ["John Lennon", "Paul McCartney", "Ringo Starr", "George Harrison"], ["Salt", "Peppa", "Spinderella"], ["Rivers Cuomo", "Patrick Wilson", "Brian Bell", "Scott Shriner"], ["Chuck D.", "Flavor Flav", "Professor Griff", "Khari Winn", "DJ Lord"], ["Axl Rose", "Slash", "Duff McKagan", "Steven Adler"], ["Run", "DMC", "Jam Master Jay"], ]

Your code here

groups = 0 for groups in musical_groups: joined_groups = ", ".join(groups) print (joined_groups)

Thank you for your help though!
