not sure what went wrong here getting an unexpected end of statement syntax error

Hi I know that this is super simple,but I am getting a syntax error for this statement, not sure what I am missing. I want to write this is javascript arghh!

ruby.rb 
def check_speed(car_speed)
  # write your code here
  if (car_speed >= 40) && (car_speed <= 50) 
    return "safe"
  else 
    return  "unsafe"
  end

You didn't close your method with an 'end'. You only closed your if statement.
